How to convince your family to come to Yolo Khopoli

Parents do not agree, the family is too conservative, or typical orthodox grandparents! Even though we have been to the moon and back, India still has families who are reluctant to travel

There is always one in the family who wants to travel, but is not allowed due to the conservative approach. Solution could be to travel with the entire family. Win-win for both, family outings come travel adventures!

So how to convince the entire family to travel to Yolo-Khopoli?

Step 1: Initiate the conversation with a positive approach

Start a casual conversation to understand their thought process on family picnics. If it's positive, it's game on!. If they sound hesitant or condescending, then we play along for a while. Find out how many family members are in support of family outings. Take notes of their concern. It is that specific area that does not allow them to open up. Stay positive, let your energy flow to theirs.

Step 2: Unlock the emotions

Ask if they have played group games, If they have painted somewhere, if they have eaten in the open under the night sky, if they sang around the bonfire or if they have gone fishing before. Everyone has tales to tell. Basically unlock the subconscious mind to miss what they once enjoyed. Show them pictures and videos. A picture speaks a thousand words. Let the pictures do a little bit of talking for you.

Step 3: Why only Yolo-Khopoli

The concept of Yolo-Khopoli was designed keeping families in mind, so we have activities for families, children, pets, etc. all under one roof. So you don't have to plan for anything much, just transportation and the budget. If budget is a concern, then YoloCafe starts from as low as Rs 250/- per person. I don't think anyone would say a no for that price.

Step 4: Family first

Tell your family the importance of family bonding outings and what it means to you as a member of the family. Let them know that YoloCafe is safe, every member well trained to do their job and no one really interferes. Matter of fact, Yolo-Khopoli has so many activities lined up that everyone is busy doing just one thing 'HAVING A GOOD TIME'.

Step 5: Don't nag

One needs to understand that in a conservative family this is not going to be a piece of cake. It is a process of unlocking one member each day. Do not act like a nagging bug. Take it one day at a time. Believe in showing someone the value behind the idea first without even telling them the actual motive.

Step 6: Everyone's an event planner

Even if you're not good at planning, we got you. Families are usually hesitant with the price, food and travel. Price and food is taken care of at Yolo, so you can strike that out from your event planning list. The in house activities are a bonus so travel is all that you need to plan for.

Plan your trip, believe it will happen and maybe this could just be one of many family outings at YoloCafe.
